Less than a week :)

The past week has been spent getting everything ready. Working with my host teacher Fanta has been so exciting as we finalize our plans for schools in Kolda. I have planned a great science and technology lesson for her classes. Nothing better than rockets to bring some excitement to any class. I am hoping my role as a member of PITSCO's Teacher Advisory Group (TAG) helps out with some great ideas.

I have been brushing up on Senegal in the hopes of understanding more of their culture. My own students are just as excited about this trip. Interestingly enough, they want me to bring them rocks back as gifts. I am still waiting on the rubber bracelets to come in.
